The design is driven by emphasizing public space and to create minimal impact for the environment as the core value to develop the headquarter for the National Open University.  Utilizing the terraces created by shifting the floor plates, the space uses the “valley” as the main concept to create a neighborhood friendly campus space.  The vertical garden is covered with a canopy to create public space for both students and the local residents to enjoy.

設計核心以強化公共開放空間，並最小化建築物對環境造成的影響，來打造空中大學的桃園總部。利用錯落的建築形態創造大量露臺，空間以”谷”的概念呈現大量綠化空間，拉近公共與校園的距離。”谷”里的垂直花園由天篷覆蓋著，讓這個開放式戶外空間成了不受天候影響供學員、鄰里均可享受大自然的空間。本競賽與張涵瑋建築師事務所合作完成。
